Art of the Tongue

The tongue can paint a world of beauty,
 Or a pit of terror, filled with gloomy days.
It can build up self-esteem, or slowly burn it away.
 It can bring hope to the hopeless, and inspiration to the weak.
So watch your words, for what you intend,
 may not be what you speak?
Speech is work, and the tongue is the tool.
 Masterpieces of growth in the hands of wisdom,
Destruction in the hands of a fool
